9 1/2"  long with  a  2 7/8 " cutter    

A beautifully made tool with two rosewood handles for perfect grip and pressure . The top handle on the blade is secured with a little metal strap. Both parts are sometimes missing. The tool has a wing nut adjuster to change the angle of the blade.

Note: this tool was originally designed and  manufactured by Union with a 1903 patent date.
