Stanley 120 block plane

offered 1876 - 1947

7 1/2"  long with  a 1 5/8" cutter.

Same plane as the 110 but with a depth adjuster mechanism for the cutter.

Type 1 has a 5-point star cap plus a raised receiver for the front knob. I rate it as very rare and the few examples I have seen sold for a lot more than my estimate. The 6-point star cap is not that rare. Don't trust the Walter guide on price for this one.
