Stanley 130 Double End Block Plane
offered 1884 - 1955
8 inches long with a 1 5/8" cutter - 1 3/4" pre 1909![](../imagesStanley%20by%20Brunner/thumbprintSP.jpg)
The cutter can be shifted around. One end is for
bullnose work. The small bridge that closes the bullnose end is often
missing. It's fragile and breaks easily but my guess is that half of the
missing plates have been removed on purpose by users who needed the
cutting edge to reach the very end of the plane -thus creating an edge
plane similar to the Stanley 97
