Stanley 57 Core Box Plane

offered 1896 - 1943

10' long with a 7/8" cutter

Larger version of the 56. Works on the same principle but sides can be extended. Plane often sold with missing extensions or lacking the proper turnbuckle centre bar. Early models nickel plated, late models black japanned.
