Stanley 64  Butchers Block Plane

offered 1915 - 1923

12 1/2" with two 2 inch cutters.

Almost identical to the 62 except for the beech handles and the japanned sides and there is no throat adjustment, either. Whilst it looks like the 62 it's actually not meant to do fine work at all. In this respect it's more like the 340 but with a low angle cutter for end grain work. Reportedly designed and sold to plane butcher's blocks but I doubt that many butchers would have actually used one! The serrated/toothed cutter is often missing and adds up to 50% to the value of a plane.
