Stanley 69 hand beader

offered 1898 - 1917

5 inches long with 6 cutters (5 plus blank after 1909)

Uses cutters like the 66 or the 72 1/2. Plane body is nickel plated with a beech handle.

Missing cutters are not a big problem because replacements can be found. Major problem with this little tools is the ferrule at the end of the handle. It's often cracked. Watch out for replaced, fixed or broken lever caps. The two horns that fit over the cross bar easily break.

Note the three different cap screws in the 3 pictures. I have observed this tool with all three versions.
