Stanley 79 side rebate plane

5 1/2"  long with  two 1/2" cutters

A handy little plane to clean rebates. The narrow skate allows access between fixed boards and reaches places no other plane can. Only limitation is the restricted depth.

The early model has a half-circle cut out in the centre of the body and no fence.  The best of the bunch are the US or English models with fence and thumb screws - not the slotted round screws.
